Video Transcript

When you use the internet, you automatically share personal information that can be used to discriminate against you or charge you more for a product. Fortunately, the California Privacy Protection Agency is making new rules to let you better control your online privacy. For example, Californians have the right to ask businesses to stop selling their information, or even delete it altogether. But that’s not all. Visit cppa.ca.gov to learn more about your privacy rights and how to participate in our public hearings later this month.
